Phew, this actually came out better than I hoped.
I was honestly afraid that this was getting me nowhere and that all the sketching I had already done on this was utterly wasted.
I already mentioned this on the WIP I posted earlier, but I made the mistake of buying the wrong sketching paper and I ended up with this rather thick, textured paper that is a complete nightmare to work with for me.
I love to work with, albeit heavy quality, smooth paper that helps me blend the graphite much easier. This paper is making blending very difficult.
I do hope you'll like him though, I'd love to hear if you do (and also if you don't of course )
Traditional sketch: about 20 hours
2H, HB, 1B, 2B and 3B Bruynzeel Sakura pencils
And all the compliments! I'm happy you like him.
This was my first time drawing teeth actually.
I wasn't looking forward to drawing them, but I found an amazing tutorial on the internet that really helped me loads.
COOL! I LOVE IT
I really doofed out with this one (too dark, horrible paper )
Did ya know that?
I'm really lucky you come over here and brighten up my day
Happy to hear he has your approval
Thanks for adding him and for the nice comments on the WIP as well
Lovely piece of art!
